The JULES architecture is designed to support any platform that supports Java and has available a COBOL compiler that supports threaded programs.

JULES supports any JDBC 2.0 compliant database vendor. This includes Oracle, DB2 and Interbase. In the case of Oracle, an efficient Oracle Direct Interface (ODI) has been created that dramatically reduces the overhead of accessing data from the database.

At present the IBM AIX environments and the Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP environments are supported.

Versions are planned for the HP Unix and Sun Unix environments as customer requirements dictate.
